The case for it

All-foam construction is the first point in its favour. Foam has no internal frame to resist a bend, so it flexes over an adjustable base where a traditional innerspring with a rigid perimeter often will not. If you own a base, or plan to, that construction removes most of the compatibility argument before it starts. The second point is that the listing publishes a 12-inch height and a full 80 by 60 inch queen footprint — down to the inch, which sounds trivial until you try to plan a bed's finished height from a listing that omits it. The third is CertiPUR-US certification, which tells you what the foam is made of and what it emits, and is worth having even though it says nothing about how long the mattress will last.

Twelve inches is a lot of mattress, and on this site that is a statement about height before it is one about comfort. And 12 inches, as above, can simply be too much mattress on a base that is already tall. None of these are defects; they are the limits of what a listing tells you, stated plainly.

Two situations where we would steer you elsewhere.
